Docs Rock – Wishing Doctor’s across the province a “Happy Doctors’ Day”

AYLMER – Last week, MPP Jeff Yurek had the opportunity to visit Dr. Toth at his Aylmer office for “Take your MPP to work day” in celebration of Doctors’ Day.  “It was great to be able to visit Dr. Toth’s office and observe the outstanding health care that he provides our community.  We are very fortunate to have such a great team of Doctors in Elgin-Middlesex-London and I commend them for their dedication to our community.” said MPP Yurek.

Today, May 1st, the Ontario Medical Association (OMA) is launching its annual Doctors’ Day campaign.  For the entire month of May Ontarians everywhere are being invited to celebrate Doctors’ Day by sharing their stories through OntariosDoctors.com or by tweeting #docsrock.

“This is a great initiative of the OMA’s and I would like to thank all of the Doctors in our province for their dedication to Ontarians.  Ontario’s Physicians deliver the highest quality of healthcare.” Stated MPP Yurek.

“As doctors practicing in Ontario, we have a proud history of advocating for the health of Ontarians and are dedicated to improvement of the overall health of our patients,” said Dr. Mike Toth, OMA president-elect and a family physician in Aylmer. “This year, on May 1st, Ontario’s doctors want to take time to thank you – our patients, and express what a privilege and honour it is for us to care for the more than 320,000 patients we see each and every day.” – Dr. Mike Toth, OMA president-elect and a family physician in Aylmer

“I encourage Ontarians across the province to celebrate Doctors’ Day during the month of May.” – Jeff Yurek, MPP, Elgin-Middlesex-London
